Job Description
BD Peripheral Intervention Territory Manager selling surgical and vascular medical devices across Dallas–Fort Worth. Managing accounts, product education, sales calls, and territory objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Represent BD Peripheral Intervention in an assigned geographical area
- Attain sales objectives
- Sell the entire product line to current and new accounts
- Inform customers about pricing, backorders, and company policies
- Provide comprehensive product in-services to relevant individuals
- Plan sales calls and manage sales time effectively
- Develop thorough knowledge of products and clinical data
- Report significant market changes and competitive activity to the Regional Manager
- Resolve customer complaints with prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions
- Analyze customer needs and create solutions
- Maintain the company automobile and company property
- Complete and process BDPI sales, expense, product tracking, account targeting, and complaint reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of outside sales experience required
- Two or more years outside sales experience or equivalency
- Medical Device Sales experience preferred
- Product knowledge and all features and benefits of BDPI products
- Surgical procedure knowledge adequate to illustrate product benefits
- Basic anatomy knowledge
- Medical and surgical terminology knowledge
- Thorough understanding of needs/analysis selling
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Understanding of contract administration
- Demonstrated human relation and communication skills
- Ability to maintain company automobile and company property
- Ability to complete BDPI sales summary, expense, product tracking, account targeting, and complaint reports
