Job Description
OpenText xECM architect integrating enterprise content management with SAP systems. Designing cloud and hybrid solutions, automating workflows, and leading implementation teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement OpenText Extended ECM solutions integrating with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite
- Architect unified views connecting structured SAP data with unstructured content
- Develop custom OpenText ECM workspaces for procurement, employee records, and asset lifecycle management
- Integrate OpenText Extended ECM with SAP using SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, APIs, and middleware
- Design data and document archiving strategies for SAP environments
- Collaborate with SAP teams across finance, HR, procurement, and engineering processes
- Manage unstructured content lifecycles, metadata, classification, governance, and records management compliance
- Implement automated workflows for invoice management, HR onboarding, and engineering document control
- Lead cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud integrations
- Align ECM solutions with SAP RISE and GROW programs
- Create custom solutions and automate workflows using Java, JavaScript, or ABAP
- Implement AI-powered features such as OpenText Content Aviator and SAP Joule
- Lead blueprinting, architecture, installation, configuration, and testing for SAP ECM projects
- Apply OpenText Fastrack or similar implementation frameworks
- Manage legacy ECM data migrations and compatibility with SAP updates
- Lead and mentor implementation teams while coordinating with Professional Services, SAP Basis, developers, and business analysts
- Work with business stakeholders to identify content management needs and improve operational efficiency and compliance
- Report to the Director of Delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise content management, SAP integrations, or related fields
- Hands-on experience implementing OpenText Extended ECM for SAP solutions
- Extensive experience with OpenText Extended ECM and SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite
- Strong knowledge of SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, and data/document archiving strategies
- Proficiency in content management best practices, metadata management, and compliance standards
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments
- Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, ABAP, or low-code/no-code configuration within OpenText tools
- Ability to map SAP business processes to content management needs across finance, HR, procurement, plant maintenance, and other functions
- Expertise with SAP FI, PM, PS, and MM business processes
- Strong knowledge of OpenText Fastrack or similar solution design and implementation frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, leadership, mentoring, and adaptability skills
- Preferred OpenText or SAP certifications are highly desirable
