Job Description
Account Executive growing ANZ sales for Xometry’s digital manufacturing marketplace. Advising customers on precision manufacturing solutions and managing the full sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete sales process, from lead qualification and technical discovery to negotiation and closing
- Identify, target, and develop long-term partnerships with key accounts across ANZ, focusing on the METS, Energy, and Medtech/Biomedical sectors
- Maintain a healthy sales funnel through proactive outbound prospecting and inbound lead handling to exceed revenue targets
- Advise customers on precision manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding
- Work with Sales Engineers to ensure quotes are technically accurate, competitively priced, and aligned with client specifications
- Build relationships with Engineering, Procurement, Program Management, and C-suite executives
- Deliver technical and commercial presentations at site visits and trade shows
- Track industry trends to refine Xometry’s market positioning
- Travel domestically as required to support key accounts and secure new business opportunities
- Report to the Sales Director, APAC
Requirements:
- 5+ years of corporate sales experience
- At least 2 years selling technical products, engineering services, or precision manufacturing solutions
- Proven track record of developing and closing business within the Australian and New Zealand markets
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- High proficiency in CRM tools
- Hands-on or deep commercial experience in precision manufacturing is a significant advantage
- Established networks and sales experience within the METS, Energy, or Medtech/Biomedical sectors are highly preferred
- A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Remote, Australia-based
