Job Description
Business Development Manager driving growth in Australia's hospitality sector. Leading sales strategies and building relationships with independent hotels and regional groups.
Responsibilities:
- Own and grow the Australian market
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for Australia, focusing on independent hotels and regional groups.
- Identify high-potential regions, segments, and buyer profiles within the local market.
- Prospect and qualify new opportunities using outbound outreach, inbound leads, and industry relationships.
- Run consultative sales conversations with hotel owners, GMs, and operations leaders.
- Deliver product demos that clearly articulate ROI, operational impact, and guest experience improvements.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in HubSpot.
- Accurately forecast, manage deal progression, and close new business.
- Collaborate with leadership on pricing, deal structure, and commercial strategy.
- Gather feedback from prospects and customers to inform product development and positioning.
- Represent Sadie at Australian hospitality events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Partnerships, and Product to refine messaging and improve conversion.
- Help shape playbooks and processes as the Australian sales motion evolves.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in hospitality SaaS or hotel technology.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and buying dynamics, especially within the Australian market.
- Experience selling to independent hotels or regional hotel groups is highly valued.
- Comfortable owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting through close.
- Clear, confident communicator who can build trust quickly with hospitality decision-makers.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in an early-stage, high-ownership environment.
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Bonus: A strong network within the Australian hotel industry and prior experience selling hospitality technology (PMS, Channel Management, CRS, Revenue Management, or related solutions).
