Job Description
Account Executive driving enterprise revenue for Splunk, Cisco’s security and observability platform. Building pipeline, expanding strategic accounts, and orchestrating complex software sales across the Southeast.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth across large enterprise accounts as an individual contributor
- Build pipeline and deliver license, support, and service revenue targets
- Establish a vision and plan for long-term pipeline generation
- Consistently deliver against revenue targets and deadlines
- Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities across client organizations
- Expand relationships and orchestrate complex deals across diverse business stakeholders
- Use channel relationships to identify and open new opportunities
- Collaborate across teams and provide timely input to corporate functions
- Develop knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics to support customer engagements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software to large enterprise customers
- Experience developing and executing business plans for an assigned territory, account portfolio, or customer base
- Experience measuring progress toward goals and addressing roadblocks
- Experience developing sales pipeline and achieving sales targets in a fast-growing, changing business environment
- Preferred: software experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, DevOps, security, business applications, and/or analytics
- Preferred: subscription, SaaS, or cloud software experience
- Preferred: experience in new business development with prospects and customers in a defined territory
- Preferred: experience engaging with executive stakeholders and applying active listening in customer engagements
- Preferred: experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
- Preferred: knowledge of Force Management, MEDDPICC, and Challenger methodologies
- Ability to work remotely from the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States
