Job Description

Account Manager driving hospital sales of Abbott’s endovascular medical devices across the Twin Cities territory. Supporting clinical selling, contracting, product utilization, and market development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all commercial selling activity for the assigned territory
  • Promote Abbott’s full Endovascular portfolio to Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, and Interventional Radiologists
  • Influence hospital stakeholders and drive product utilization
  • Support contracting efforts and negotiate contracts with hospital customers
  • Develop and manage customer relationships and market opportunities
  • Support clinical selling activity and procedure case service
  • Provide product training, physician onboarding, early case coverage, and training
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit growth objectives
  • Develop and implement account sales strategies and action plans
  • Analyze sales figures, reports, competition, pricing, and account needs
  • Attend trade shows, educational conferences, and seminars
  • Maintain clinical and technical expertise through product training
  • Prepare and submit reports to sales management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5+ years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel 50% within assigned region
  • Preferred: prior experience selling in the medical device industry
