Job Description
Diagnostic Account Manager supporting Zoetis veterinary diagnostics across Northern and Eastern Ontario. Installing devices, training clinic staff, and driving customer utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a territory of diagnostic customers across Northern and Eastern Ontario
- Deliver best-in-class in-clinic laboratory installations and promote utilization according to clinical guidelines
- Enhance the post-sale customer experience
- Oversee installation, setup, and connectivity of diagnostic devices and online platforms
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and customer education
- Facilitate customer onboarding through pre-onboarding, installation, training, and follow-up
- Conduct cyclical customer touchpoints and provide clinic training on usage, maintenance, and clinical benefits
- Upsell and cross-sell products, identify leads, and collaborate with team members
- Maintain expertise in products, services, pricing, competition, and market trends
- Coordinate resources, schedule calls, book travel, manage the territory budget, maintain customer records, and report expenses
Requirements:
- Post-secondary qualification in biological sciences, business, or veterinary technology
- Sales experience required
- Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent planning, organization, and written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in consultative (solution) selling techniques
- Comprehensive understanding of veterinary hospital operations, including laboratory and clinical procedures, practice administration, staff training, and workflow
- Proficient in interpreting scientific and medical information
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
