Job Description

Head of Provider Partnerships growing uMed’s US clinical research provider network. Building partnerships strategy, commercial models, and the team connecting patients with research opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the US patient access growth strategy across independent primary care, IPAs, health systems, specialty networks, EMR partners, payers, and pharmacy networks
  • Personally own and close the most strategic, highest-value provider and health system relationships
  • Design the commercial model for provider partnerships, including terms, incentives, and contracting approach, with legal and finance
  • Build, hire, and lead the provider partnerships team as the US network scales
  • Set targets, processes, and playbooks for the provider partnerships function
  • Represent provider growth strategy and performance to the executive team and board
  • Partner with Operations to align provider experience with life science customer commitments and inform product strategy
  • Represent uMed at senior industry forums, conferences, and associations to build US brand credibility and pipeline
  • Own network growth reporting and forecasting, including practices signed, patients represented, time-to-live, and network health
  • Advise the CEO strategically

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in healthcare business development, provider/health system partnerships, with real ownership of a partnerships or network-growth function
  • Track record of closing complex, trust-based partnerships with physicians, practice leadership, health system executives, and third-party vendors such as EMR systems
  • Comfortable operating at strategic board/executive-level strategy and hands-on execution, personally leading key deals
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and provider motivations
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including shaping deal structure and contracting
  • Executive presence credible in front of a board, CEO, or health system C-suite
