Job Description

Diagnostic account manager installing and supporting Zoetis veterinary diagnostic solutions across Greater Vancouver and Islands. Driving veterinary clinic onboarding, training, utilization, and post-sale customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a territory of diagnostic customers across the Greater Vancouver Area and Islands
  • Conduct regular on-site and remote customer check-ins to meet performance indicators and budget
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and education on diagnostic solutions
  • Upsell and cross-sell products, identify leads, and collaborate with team members
  • Deliver post-sale customer service through implementation and staff training
  • Install and set up diagnostic devices, routers, network switch connections, practice management software connectivity, and online platforms
  • Drive customer onboarding through pre-onboarding, installation, training, and follow-up
  • Maintain expertise in products, services, pricing, competition, and market trends
  • Collaborate with business units to improve customer experience and resource utilization
  • Coordinate resources, schedule calls, book travel, manage the territory budget, maintain customer records, and report expenses

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary qualification in biological sciences, business, or veterinary technology
  • Sales experience required
  • Management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Skilled in consultative (solution) selling techniques
  • Comprehensive understanding of veterinary hospital operations, including laboratory and clinical procedures, practice administration, staff training, and workflow
  • Proficient in interpreting scientific and medical information
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area
