Job Description

Account Manager driving outside sales and account growth for Arcwood Environmental's industrial waste-management services. Managing customer relationships, contracts, revenue, and service delivery across Idaho.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform outside sales, new business development, and account management for assigned accounts and customers
  • Support business services in achieving revenue and profitability goals
  • Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery
  • Identify potential new accounts and solicit orders through personal sales calls
  • Foster sales relationships with target accounts
  • Grow revenue and profit from existing accounts through regular customer contact and communication about additional services
  • Prepare, submit, and interpret periodic reports on activities, sales volume, and expenses
  • Attend sales meetings and training programs
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, Chambers of Commerce, and professional associations
  • Stay current on environmental regulations, industry trends, and competitive conditions
  • Coordinate with customers to identify service timeframes and ensure quality and satisfaction
  • Resolve customer concerns and negotiate pricing and contract requirements
  • Complete the annual sales revenue budget and identify key customer initiatives
  • Manage and control sales expenses
  • Maintain understanding of company service offerings
  • Take on additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; focus within sales, business, marketing, or science preferred
  • 3+ years of proven industry-related sales experience required
  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of proven industry-related sales experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including some overnight stays
  • Ability to manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to less than 45 days
  • Ability to complete a post-offer drug screen and background check
  • Ability to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's service offerings
  • Knowledge of environmental regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitive conditions
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements
  • Ability to manage sales expenses and submit business expenses timely
