Job Description

Account Manager promoting innovative pharmaceutical products for Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Building relationships with healthcare professionals and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for targeted customers in the IBD sector.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL’s), and healthcare professionals in the IBD field.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Conduct product presentations and therapeutic area discussions to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and up-to date information is conveyed.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer need to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to healthcare professionals in handling product inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics in the CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, NHS, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in IBD preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, compliance, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage collaborators.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs and attend industry events.
