Job Description

Junior account manager selling Rebellyous Foods’ plant-based meat to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and distributors. Building customer partnerships, generating sales opportunities, and supporting launches across Washington.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage brokers and support strategic development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with foodservice operators, distributors, and key customer accounts
  • Promote and sell company products to restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hospitality accounts, and other foodservice establishments
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and sales calls
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within assigned territories
  • Assist in developing and executing sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support product launches, menu placements, promotions, and sampling events
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account activity updates
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure timely follow-up
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and distributor meetings
  • Use the company CRM to track sales calls, opportunities, wins, campaigns, and forecasting
  • Participate in priority sales meetings and appointments
  • Travel regionally and occasionally nationally from a home base

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of sales, foodservice, customer service, or related experience
  • Knowledge of the foodservice industry is preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Flexibility to take on tasks supporting team efforts
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize and triage obligations
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
  • Ability to be a self-starter and make independent decisions
  • Must maintain a current food handler’s permit
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Interest in the plant-based meat industry
  • Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds
  • May require weekend or after-hours work
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license and a personal vehicle
