Job Description
Sales Representative for 3M's Personal Safety Division in Idaho and Montana. Managing territory sales and training customers on product applications while achieving sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage assigned territory
- Understand sales goals and establish self-directed sales coverage with manager's assistance
- Develop tactics and coordinate efforts to fulfill quarterly and annual objectives
- Achieve annual sales targets and objectives
- Apply business unit marketing policies, procedures and plans
- Utilize selling process to achieve sales results
- Train internal and external customers on product applications
- Maintain and communicate account and prospect information
- Build collaboration among team members
- Continuously learn and improve skills relative to the market, products, and applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Two (2) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience in Safety leadership or management will also be considered
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Master’s Degree is a plus
- Safety or industrial sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Selling through Industrial Distribution experience
- Selling into end user companies experience - General Industry, Construction, Shipyards, Pharma, Hospitals, etc.
- Strong organizational skills while working independently
- Effective time & territory management skills
- Strong use of personal computer software and Salesforce
