Job Description
Technical AI Lead at Dedalus providing strategic leadership in AI initiatives and managing a global team. Ensuring quality and consistency in AI product development while communicating technical strategies across stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and hands-on technical leadership across AI product portfolio
- Oversee a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI researchers
- Define and champion best practices, standards, and guidelines for AI software development
- Contribute to AI partner vetting and technical due diligence for third-party AI platforms
- Ensure technical consistency across AI initiatives by collaborating with the Integrated Solutions Team
- Stay at the forefront of AI research developments
- Communicate technical progress, risks, and strategy to key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
- Proven experience leading an AI technical team in a product-focused environment
- Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and modern AI development practices
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven development workflows, including LLM-assisted development
- Strong proficiency with the modern ML stack (e.g. Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
- Demonstrated ability to define and enforce AI governance practices
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Native English speaker or C1/C2 English certification
