Job Description

Analyst for AMI Business Process Design at FormativGroup, leading workshops and developing process models for utility programs. Requires residency in specific U.S. states.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage a defined subset of L3 AMI business processes from planning through delivery, ensuring end to end alignment.
  • Plan, lead, and facilitate business process workshops with cross functional stakeholder groups.
  • Develop high quality as is and to be process models suitable for largescale AMI program implementation.
  • Produce rigorous, testable BRDs and functional requirements that system integrators can directly build from.
  • Manage stakeholder communication to ensure clarity, alignment, and traceability across process and requirements workstreams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in AMI, Smart Meter, Advanced Meter Infrastructure, or Metering environments.
  • Proven background supporting large-scale AMI deployments and utility transformation programs.
  • Strong business process modeling skills (as is/to be), including workshop facilitation and detailed process documentation.
  • Ability to write clear, structured, and testable BRDs and functional requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to independently drive deliverables.
