Job Description

Associate Manager leading commercial analysts, proposals, contracts, and pricing for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s clinical research services. Driving quality, process improvement, and client outcomes remotely across the USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Analysts preparing proposals and supporting client accounts
  • Manage team workload, priorities, and resources in a high-volume environment
  • Review and oversee proposals, contracts, and other commercial deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and timely completion
  • Support RFP administration and contract management activities
  • Build partnerships with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Resolve issues, align priorities, and support commercial outcomes across functions
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
  • Streamline workflows, strengthen quality, and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead or contribute to business-critical projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Apply business judgment, analytical thinking, and financial modeling to commercial decision-making
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality execution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial analysis, proposals, contracts, pricing, commercial operations, or business development, or comparable experience
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization
  • Strong knowledge of RFP administration, proposal development, and contract management
  • Strong understanding of contractual documents, commercial processes, and business operations
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Fluency in English required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
  • May require travel (0-20%)
