Job Description

Associate managing real estate transactions, financial models, lease administration, and approvals for JLL’s global technology client. Remote role based in New York or San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a strong, trusted client relationship
  • Support account leaders in executing business and real estate strategies
  • Assist with cost reduction, financial and occupancy optimization, monetization, and other portfolio goals
  • Build and analyze financial models, including Net Effective Rent, termination penalty, scenario cash flow/P&L
  • Prepare transaction analysis and materials, including RFPs, comparison packages, LOIs, broker opinions of value, spend approval documentation, and executive business cases
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across functions to drive spend and transaction approvals
  • Support document execution for all transaction types
  • Manage lease administration, including tracking terminations, renewals, rent commencements, and portfolio-wide lease/property data
  • Provide monthly reporting
  • Maintain and improve financial templates, tools, and KPI data
  • Support onboarding and identify process efficiencies
  • Leverage, invent, and simplify best practices
  • Provide actionable advice on anticipated risks and opportunities
  • Identify process inefficiencies, formulate and execute implementation plans, and track and demonstrate results
  • Operate proactively and responsively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics or related field required
  • 2–4 years supporting transaction management
  • Advanced understanding of real estate and lease terminology
  • Strong financial, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs/Sheets/Slides, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to build relationships across business partners
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time and workload under pressure, and adapt to change
  • Commitment to client service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
