Job Description
Business Development Representative at TeamSupport influencing sales success through lead generation and client engagement. Driving growth for a leading B2B customer support software company in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, and system-generated leads.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify leads based on specific criteria to ensure they align with our target customer profile.
- Initial Contact: Contact prospective clients to introduce TeamSupport’s products/services and understand their needs.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demos with qualified leads for the Account Executive.
- Product Knowledge: Learn and apply knowledge of TeamSupport product features to match the needs of potential clients.
- Inquiry Response: Answer inquiries from prospects concerning products, their uses, and industry information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation and conversion strategies.
- Reporting: Periodically prepare and report results, status of accounts, and leads to the manager.
- Goal Achievement: Maintain monthly goals and quotas.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably SaaS.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Confident in cold calling and excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to grasp new technologies and software; proficiency with Google platform, Salesforce, SalesLoft, Seamless.ai, and RingCentral is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to identify potential opportunities.
- Organized with attention to detail.
