Job Description

Business Development Strategist for Wallop, a digital agency specializing in experiential travel. Responsible for managing inbound sales pipeline and nurturing leads with consultative approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle for inbound leads, ensuring an exceptional prospect experience from initial inquiry to signed contract
  • Work strategically with the outbound sales executive to collaborate on process, and best practices
  • Rigorously identify and validate Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) to ensure we are pursuing high-fit, sustainable partnerships
  • Execute and improve upon a defined sales methodology rooted in the Win Without Pitching and Tim Williams frameworks
  • Maintain a "clean-data" culture
  • Responsible for pipeline hygiene, lead enrichment, and ensuring every interaction is captured with precision in the CRM
  • Use data visualization to speak to the health of the pipeline and provide the executive team with accurate forecasting
  • Work directly with the marketing team to provide real-time feedback on lead quality
  • Partner with the Director of Growth to iterate on foundational sales processes, materials, and funnels based on data-backed insights
  • Work closely with Department Leads to ensure all proposals reflect consistent pricing, current product offerings, and realistic deliverables
  • Coordinate the RFP process with the executive team, ensuring on-time delivery and a cohesive, high-standard output

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in value-based sales (Win Without Pitching, David C. Baker, or similar frameworks)
  • Expert-level CRM management (Pipedrive)
  • Ability to interpret digital marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, Conversion Rates) and translate them into business opportunities
  • Understanding of the luxury hospitality industry, including an awareness of ADR, occupancy trends, and the challenges of independent hotels
  • High-level presentation skills with the ability to lead conversations with senior hotel stakeholders and executive teams
  • Strong research habits and a commitment to "clean" pipeline management
