Job Description

Virtual Clinical Counselor providing non-medical counseling services to Navy Wounded Warrior and Gold Star individuals. Delivering support remotely while maintaining flexible hours during specified timeframes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and short-term, solution-focused non-medical counseling services to eligible Navy Wounded Warrior and Gold Star individuals
  • Deliver virtual counseling to clients, including individuals, couples, and groups
  • Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and referral of clients
  • Maintain counseling case documentation in the Clinical Counseling Record System

Requirements:

  • Minimum educational qualifications include a master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology
  • Current, valid and unrestricted clinical license for independent clinical practice
  • Minimum of two years of full-time, post-master’s supervised clinical experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and skilled in the use of office software
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and populations.
