Job Description
Clinical sales specialist supporting Abbott’s Structural Heart and LAAO devices in Oklahoma. Training clinicians, covering procedures, and providing technical and sales support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and sales support through customer education and procedure coverage within a defined region
- Train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel on Structural Heart products
- Provide technical support to physicians during procedures
- Communicate product, clinical, and market data to appropriate personnel
- Support product marketing strategy development and implementation
- Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients
- Serve as the primary clinical support resource for surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products
- Inform customers about product, therapy, and technology developments
- Engage in clinical, procedural, and technical discussions and link outcome data to key messaging
- Meet with healthcare providers to identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints and provide feasible solutions
- Travel in excess of 50% as required
Requirements:
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of related cardiovascular work experience, including 3+ years of Structural Heart or Electrophysiology-specific clinical experience
- Verification of satisfaction of all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination
- Strong clinical orientation
- Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery
- Familiarity with echocardiology and other indirect imaging
- Ability to travel in excess of 50%
