Job Description

Customer Service Specialist providing assistance to inquiries from Alberta Blue Cross members via phone. Educating members about health coverage plans and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • respond to telephone inquiries from members
  • educate customers on Blue Cross plans and programs
  • follow up on customer requests
  • suggest improvements for workflows and processes
  • log all calls for statistical purposes

Requirements:

  • previous call centre experience preferred
  • bilingual fluency in English and French is an asset
  • strong listening and problem-solving skills
  • ability to handle complex inquiries
  • optimistic outlook
  • advanced customer service skills
