Job Description

Dealer Services Sales Representative growing U.S. Bank’s automotive, marine, and recreational vehicle dealership relationships. Marketing lending products, supporting credit quality, and expanding customer relationships through field sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with dealerships for the Indirect Lending business, including automotive, marine, and recreational vehicle dealerships
  • Market products to consumer and commercial customers and existing customers
  • Develop relationships with new customers
  • Share accountability for credit quality with the Underwriting team
  • Deepen customer relationships by selling U.S. Bank products
  • Spend significant time in face-to-face contact with clients or prospects
  • Manage relationships with regionally based clients that may have multi-regional or national locations
  • Conduct significant local and regional travel, with some national travel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven or more years of sales experience in the financial services industry
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent marketing, sales and relationship management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of appropriate laws and statutes pertaining to loan/lease documentation and credit analysis
  • Proven customer service/relations skills
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
  • May be subject to background checks and requirements related to FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, the NFA, the FCPA, the Bank Secrecy Act, the SAFE Act, and/or applicable federal guidelines
