Job Description

Delivery Director managing delivery quality and team performance for Adobe applications and cloud products. Responsible for staffing, oversight, and ensuring successful delivery to meet customer goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all delivery aspects such as productivity, quality, and milestone achievement
  • Ensuring team members have access to the tools and materials they need to deliver in their day-to-day activities
  • Ensure proper process and SDLC are being followed across all projects
  • Serve as the ultimate point of escalation for the project team and the client
  • Enforcement of company policy and architectural alignment
  • Ensure career paths exist for individuals and work with them to make sure they are on the right paths to meet their personal goals
  • Working with People Leaders and Mentors to ensure the robust development of all individuals
  • Ability to coach and guide employees through career paths
  • Ability to train and mentor direct managers as well as technical staff
  • Ability to train and mentor development staff
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Align with Platform leadership and Operations on project resourcing and staffing needs
  • Align with Estimation Manager on project estimations
  • Review and sign off on SOWs and Change Orders as needed
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring to fill immediate needs as well as plan for forecasted growth
  • Assist sales with technical support and strategic alignment
  • Ability to inspire confidence in clients and provide leadership to implementation teams
  • Strategic planning skills to help navigate internal and external customer requirements
  • Ability to understand unique and complex business requirements and help develop plans to solve short and long term problems

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience managing enterprise engagements
  • 15+ years IT industry experience with a minimum 10+ years of experience in services delivery organization
  • Experience at professional services company such as an agency or consulting firm
  • Experience working in eCommerce / Digital Services
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Experience working on projects with Adobe applications
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify+ platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other CMS
  • Knowledge of or ability to understand technologies such as HTML, CSS, SOAP, REST, Git, AEM
  • Ability to communicate and document technical designs to both internal and external technical resources
  • Capable of driving and defending design models and best practices
  • Thorough and deep knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile processes
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science and/or equivalent experience in development industry
