Job Description
Commercial operations director advancing sales strategy and enablement for Siemens Healthineers’ medical technology business. Leading cross-functional initiatives, modernization, AI adoption, and operational improvement across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery
- Establish project structure, milestones, and accountability
- Drive alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities
- Diagnose operational challenges and identify root causes
- Develop scalable solutions that improve performance and efficiency
- Translate ambiguity into structured plans and measurable outcomes
- Coordinate Sales Operations, Variable Compensation, Learning & Development, Sales Compliance, and Reporting & Analytics initiatives
- Modernize commercial processes, tools, and workflows
- Evaluate and implement AI, automation, and emerging capabilities
- Partner with technology and business teams to translate innovation into adopted solutions
- Influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions across the organization
- Manage up to executive leadership and across/down to teams
- Track progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure follow-through
- Elevate issues early with clear recommendations
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, or commercial operations
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward execution
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements or new ways of working
- Exposure to digital transformation, automation, or AI-driven initiatives in a commercial or operational context
- Ability to influence senior leaders and navigate matrixed organizations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
