Job Description

Director of Business Development driving logistics solutions for North American markets. Collaborating across teams to generate revenue and build client relationships in Tijuana, Mexico.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business and revenue independently
  • Build a strong sales pipeline (cold calling, lead lists, networking)
  • Conduct 5–10 discovery meetings per day when not traveling
  • Travel across Canada, the US, and Mexico to meet prospects
  • Fully utilize CRM tools (Sales Now) daily — log calls, emails, meetings
  • Cross-sell services with VP of Sales and other team members
  • Gather market intel on competitors and industry changes
  • Propose solutions based on client needs and market trends
  • Collaborate on pricing and forecasting with senior management
  • Actively participate in sales planning and company growth initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or cross-border operations
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Business or Engineering preferred)
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish – verbal and written)
  • Understanding of cross-border logistics (Canada/US/Mexico)
  • Willingness to travel and learn other operational areas
