Job Description
Director of Recruiting scaling Daymark Health’s value-based oncology care organization. Building recruiting operations and teams for rapid multi-market expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Own Daymark’s talent strategy and the recruiting team that executes it
- Build and lead a small, high-caliber recruiting function, beginning with a Clinical Recruiter and coordinator support
- Partner with the Senior Manager of People Operations and executive team on workforce planning
- Translate market launch timelines into executable hiring plans
- Personally run critical corporate and leadership searches
- Build a headcount source of truth tied to market launch dates and the financial plan
- Report regularly to leadership on hiring needs, ownership, timing, and risks
- Learn and assess recruiting tools, templates, processes, and structured interview philosophy
- Build trust with hiring managers and leadership by running searches hands-on
- Diagnose and stabilize recruiting funnels by rewriting roles, rebuilding sourcing strategies, or changing opportunity messaging
- Map oncology, value-based care, and health system talent landscapes in new markets
- Coordinate with the broader team and talent consultants to ensure market readiness and hiring execution
- Hire, onboard, and develop a Clinical Recruiter and coordinator support
- Build recruiting operations, including Greenhouse ATS configuration, reporting, SLAs, scorecards, and interview kits
- Train hiring managers and interviewers on structured, outcomes-based interviewing
- Build Daymark’s employer brand and candidate experience
Requirements:
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- At least 2–3 years leading a team
- Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed healthcare or tech-enabled services organization (ideally)
- Experience owning a hiring plan through rapid scale from roughly 50 to 150+ employees
- Experience hiring clinical talent, including NPs, RNs, Social Workers, Community Health Workers, and Medical Assistants
- Experience hiring corporate talent across operations, technology, and G&A
- Proven success in scaling businesses, fast-paced environments, and startups
- Experience building and developing a recruiting team
- Hands-on ATS usage and sourcing experience
- Experience building recruiting operations from the ground up, including ATS architecture, interview kits, scorecards, reporting, and vendor strategy
- Ability to partner with Finance and executive leadership on workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, and speed/cost/quality trade-offs
- Ability to articulate a mission-driven story and close skeptical clinicians or executives
- Deep commitment to Daymark’s mission
- Greenhouse ATS familiarity is preferred
- Multi-market or new-market launch experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with value-based care, oncology, or provider-side healthcare delivery is a strong plus
