Job Description

Director of Talent & People leading and evolving people function at Advantage HQ. Overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee experience in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and evolve the entire people function at Advantage HQ
  • Combine talent acquisition leadership with people operations ownership
  • Inherit an existing recruiting team and ensure the company can attract, hire, onboard, develop, and retain exceptional talent
  • Primary owner of hiring strategy, recruiting operations, employee experience, onboarding, organizational design support, and people processes
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership on all people-related decisions

Requirements:

  • 5-10+ years of experience across Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or Human Resources leadership roles
  • Experience supporting organizations with 100+ employees
  • Experience leading recruiting teams and managing hiring operations
  • Strong understanding of people operations in remote or distributed organizations
  • Experience operating in startups, agencies, or high-growth businesses
  • Excellent judgment and strong decision-making ability
  • Bias toward action and ownership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and constant change
