Job Description
Director of Talent & People leading and evolving people function at Advantage HQ. Overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee experience in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and evolve the entire people function at Advantage HQ
- Combine talent acquisition leadership with people operations ownership
- Inherit an existing recruiting team and ensure the company can attract, hire, onboard, develop, and retain exceptional talent
- Primary owner of hiring strategy, recruiting operations, employee experience, onboarding, organizational design support, and people processes
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership on all people-related decisions
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of experience across Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or Human Resources leadership roles
- Experience supporting organizations with 100+ employees
- Experience leading recruiting teams and managing hiring operations
- Strong understanding of people operations in remote or distributed organizations
- Experience operating in startups, agencies, or high-growth businesses
- Excellent judgment and strong decision-making ability
- Bias toward action and ownership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and constant change
