Job Description

Product marketing director shaping Veracross's Fintech and Insurtech solutions for K–12 private schools. Driving global go-to-market strategy, messaging, campaigns, and sales enablement.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the center of strategy for Veracross's Business Office suite, including Fintech and Insurtech solutions
  • Decide which campaigns are prioritized, define core messaging, and schedule launches
  • Direct global demand generation teams in turning strategy into an integrated calendar
  • Drive the go-to-market process for major Business Office, Fintech, and Insurtech launches from positioning through post-launch performance review
  • Build and maintain go-to-market playbooks aligning Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • Become the internal expert on K–12 private school financial operations, including accounting, tuition, compliance, and risk
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis across EdTech, Fintech, and Insurtech
  • Identify differentiation opportunities
  • Partner with Product Management to prioritize roadmap investments based on market demand and customer feedback
  • Define and evolve the core narrative for the Business Office suite for CFOs, business officers, and heads of school
  • Ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, sales conversations, product launches, and executive communications
  • Partner with content, design, and demand-generation teams on web copy, videos, case studies, and presentations
  • Create sales enablement resources including pitch decks, competitive briefs, battlecards, demo scripts, and FAQs
  • Partner with marketing and revenue teams on awareness- and pipeline-building campaigns
  • Measure performance, analyze funnel impact, and iterate on messaging and campaign mix to improve conversion
  • Mentor product marketing managers, including those outside the direct reporting line
  • Set the standard for product marketing at Veracross and develop less experienced product marketers
  • Translate customer and market insights into positioning, launch plans, and enablement tools that drive adoption and growth

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of Product Marketing experience within EdTech, Fintech, SaaS, or related B2B technology, including ownership of go-to-market for a multi-product portfolio
  • Track record of setting campaign strategy and messaging direction that other teams and functions build from
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex products into clear, compelling stories for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing, including aligning teams without formal authority
  • Analytical, data-driven mindset
  • Strong project management discipline
  • Comfort operating with significant autonomy as an individual contributor
  • Instinct to coach and develop other marketers, even without a formal reporting relationship
  • Experience in school financial systems, accounting, tuition management, insurance, or payments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ERP, SIS, or CRM platforms (preferred)
  • Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) strategies and lifecycle marketing (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of K–12 education systems and private/independent school business operations (preferred)
