Job Description
Director of Proposal Management at EPS Learning driving strategic proposals and bid operations for K-12 literacy solutions. Overseeing compliance and cross-functional collaboration for high-quality submissions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process
- Develop goals, timelines, workflows, and objectives for proposal-related projects
- Source, review, and analyze RFXs, and other sales opportunities
- Direct proposal work by coordinating meetings and communications
- Drive proposal strategy and translate that strategy into clear, compelling, compliant responses
- Manage proposal logistics, including calendars, kick-off meetings, review cycles
- Support Sales team members with contract-related documents
- Serve as the primary liaison for proposal/procurement relationships
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a database of standard proposal responses
- Monitor proposal performance, market trends, and industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, journalism, communications, or a related field required; advanced degree or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in proposal management, RFP/RFX response development, bid strategy, and complex sales support.
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end proposal development processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and project management discipline.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
- Experience with proposal automation, content management, CRM, contract management, or workflow systems preferred.
- Prior experience with K-12 literacy curriculum, education technology, or instructional materials preferred.
