Job Description
Finance leader supporting budgeting and financial analysis for the Apparel Division at Coats, a global leader in thread manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Divisional Finance Director and relevant stakeholders for budgeting and decision making
- Provide leadership in leveraging AI initiatives for business-wide process optimization
- Ensure that team delivers the highest standard of teamwork and support within the BUs, functions and departments
- Develop finance and accounting team goals that are fully aligned with the Division and Group goals
- Develop a strong business and financial control environment
- Manage the financial reporting process ensure maximum team’s productivity
- Ensure a robust financial management reporting tool, process and reports are in place
- Conduct in-depth performance / root-cause analysis on actuals to provide clear insights
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- At least 10+ years of senior management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to articulate complex matters simply and concisely
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and programs
- Ability to apply judgement in ambiguous situations delivering effective solutions
- Strong in Excel & Powerpoint
- Experience in SAP & Power BI is preferred
