Job Description

Ecommerce Assistant supporting daily operations of online retail business with a focus on Amazon marketplace. Collaborating with marketing and operations teams to drive performance and sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of our online retail business with a primary focus on Amazon marketplace management.
  • Maintain product listings, optimize content for search visibility, monitor sales performance, and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to drive performance across all ecommerce platforms.
  • Analyze marketplace trends, respond to customer queries, and assist with promotional campaigns and reporting.
  • Monitor and update product listings to ensure accuracy and compliance with Amazon’s policies.
  • Conduct keyword research to improve product discoverability and search ranking.
  • Write and edit compelling product titles, features, benefits, and descriptions.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure accurate stock levels on Amazon.
  • Process orders and returns, address fulfillment issues promptly.
  • Assist in setting up and managing Amazon PPC campaigns.
  • Support the execution of seasonal promotions, including Lightning Deals and coupons.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and reviews to maintain positive seller ratings.
  • Compile sales, traffic, and advertising performance data to inform strategy.
  • Upload new SKUs and variations, ensuring images and content meet Amazon’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to update product imagery and visual assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon FBA/FBM and related tools.
  • Experience managing and optimizing Amazon product listings.
  • Proficiency with keyword research and SEO best practices for ecommerce.
  • Basic knowledge of Amazon advertising (PPC) platforms and strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data and present insights using Excel or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Home Depot, or Lowes is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in ecommerce or online retail environment (1-2 years preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
