Job Description
Enterprise Retail Sales Manager winning complex payments deals with major UK merchants for Elavon. Managing prospecting, negotiation, closing, and relationship hand-offs across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business sales within Elavon’s Enterprise Retail vertical, focusing on key merchants across the UK
- Manage the entire sales journey from initial prospecting through relationship manager hand-off
- Achieve revenue goals and support growth of the retail vertical across Europe
- Understand the payments landscape, competitive environment, and ideal customer fit
- Identify new business opportunities and communicate Elavon’s value proposition
- Work with relationship managers and the partnership team to explore expansion opportunities across new territories
- Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiate and close high-value deals with senior enterprise executives
- Manage external and internal relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Establish and maintain an effective referral network
- Achieve company revenue targets
- Travel across the UK or Europe in line with business requirements
- Report to the Head of Sales Enterprise Retail Europe
Requirements:
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets
- 5+ years of sales experience selling payments and complex financial service solutions to large merchants in the UK
- Self-generated new business acquisition experience from prospecting through close
- Experience managing complex deal cycles and multiple projects independently
- Experience building relationships with C-Suite executives and engaging multiple stakeholders
- Strategic negotiation and highly effective communication skills
- High ethical standards, honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Native or fluent English speaker
- Must satisfy applicable Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regime and Conduct Standards requirements
- Must provide requested information and documentation regarding qualifications, experience, employment history, financial soundness, and other interests for due diligence
- Maintain awareness of and comply with U.S. Bank’s Code of Ethics and applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
