Job Description

Johnson & Johnson neuroscience sales specialist driving CAPLYTA growth across Lynn, Massachusetts. Building compliant healthcare-provider relationships, territory plans, and sales performance in psychiatry.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales performance within the assigned Lynn, MA territory by calling on healthcare professional offices and Mental Health Community Centers in person and virtually
  • Meet or exceed sales forecasts in an ethical and compliant manner
  • Understand and identify customer needs and customize compliant customer discussions and interactions
  • Use assigned budgets effectively to achieve territory objectives
  • Maintain current knowledge of local markets, practice structures, customers, and key influencers, and share insights with internal stakeholders
  • Provide input into customer and regional resource-allocation decisions
  • Select and implement appropriate programs and resources for customers, practices, and systems
  • Develop a local business plan with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders
  • Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through strategic-plan execution
  • Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales Specialists on shared objectives and best practices
  • Manage work hours, sales-call data, customer objectives, communications, synchronization, samples, and expenses accurately and on time
  • Build business plans based on customer needs, resources, and products
  • Complete assigned company and job-related training within required timelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare sales/account management, business-to-business sales, or recent transition from Active-Duty Military
  • 3+ years of specialty-pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
  • Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Benefits:

  • Competitive base pay of $79,000–$155,000 per year
  • Commission eligibility (Job Sub Function: Sales – Neuroscience (Commission))
