Job Description

Events Manager owning Launch Potato’s trade show and conference program for its customer-acquisition brands. Building scalable event operations, partner activations, budgets, logistics, and sales-meeting support.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the annual trade show and conference calendar, including event selection and rationale
  • Recommend relevant shows directly to the CRO
  • Manage passes, deadlines, sponsorships, booth space, and speaking slots
  • Build the 2027 event calendar
  • Coordinate attendee confirmations and keep deadlines visible
  • Coordinate and project manage collateral, one-pagers, and sales assets with Design
  • Partner with Judy on swag, samples, shipping, and event materials
  • Attend roughly five exhibiting, dinner, or executive-meeting shows annually
  • Run on-site event logistics and troubleshoot issues for the team
  • Track and manage the event budget and flag overruns
  • Own month-end reconciliation with Finance
  • Help implement and manage a modern travel and expense platform
  • Build targeted partner activations such as dinners and golf outings
  • Develop a scalable, repeatable event program that drives booked meetings and closed partnerships
  • Work closely with senior leaders, including the CRO

Requirements:

  • 3+ years running events, trade shows, or field programs supporting a sales, partnerships, or business development team
  • Direct experience owning a conference or trade show end to end
  • Experience with vendor negotiation, booth or sponsorship contracts, and accountable event budgets
  • Strong follow-through and ability to obtain answers proactively
  • Comfort working remotely with a distributed, fast-moving team
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Curiosity about AI tools and applying them to work
  • Nice to have: experience in performance marketing, affiliate, adtech, fintech, or digital media
  • Nice to have: experience with Ramp, Brex, Navan, TripActions, Cvent, or Concur
  • Nice to have: experience selecting or rolling out travel, expense, or event platforms
  • Nice to have: existing relationships with relevant conference organizers
