Job Description
Field Service Technician servicing retail electromechanical equipment and self-checkout systems for NCR Voyix. Installing, maintaining, and repairing customer equipment across an assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
- Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance work, and system overhauls
- Act as a first-line response to customers
- Communicate with customers to find the right solution
- Organize and triage customer issues
- Handle some customer problems before they occur
- Complete formal training to provide customers with needed services
- Service or replace networking equipment such as access points or switches
Requirements:
- Local candidate to specific geographic area
- Authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfying NCR fleet requirements
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to travel for prolonged periods, driving several hours per day
- Availability for rotating and weekend shifts
- Flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening rotating shifts, including some holidays
- Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, hand work, and repetitive grasping and object manipulation
- Willingness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts
- Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of applicable screening criteria
