Job Description
Finance Scriptwriter for US-based YouTube channel focusing on financial literacy and analysis. Remote role involving collaboration with video producers and experts to craft informative scripts.
Responsibilities:
- Research and craft compelling scripts for YouTube videos covering a range of financial topics.
- Translate intricate financial concepts into relatable and easily understood content.
- Work closely with video producers and financial experts to ensure accuracy and authenticity in all scripts.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all video content.
- Monitor audience engagement metrics and feedback to adapt and improve script writing.
- Stay current on the latest finance trends, news, and best practices to provide timely and relevant insights.
- Review and edit scripts for clarity, grammar, and format prior to the video production phase.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in scriptwriting, content creation, or journalism, with a focus on financial topics.
- Deep understanding of finance, investment concepts, and personal finance.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in producing content for digital platforms, particularly YouTube, is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in research and ability to condense complex information into engaging narratives.
- Familiarity with audience engagement strategies and analytics.
- Strong collaborative skills; able to work effectively within a remote team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
