Job Description
Global Strategic Account Manager driving sales growth and building relationships with strategic customers at Agilent. Leading cross-functional teams and executing sales strategies to enhance laboratory partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Accelerate the sales growth of Agilent's Global Strategic Customer Program
- Establish Agilent as the preferred laboratory partner
- Build close relationships with external thought-leaders and executives
- Develop and execute an overall "One Agilent" strategy
- Partner with local sales teams to improve organizational competency and effectiveness
- Initiates innovative business development strategies
- Collaborate across the business to translate customer requirements
- Manage complex global negotiations to yield the best value for customers
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 8+ years in a sales based role with growing levels of responsibility
- Experience in service delivery, informatics, laboratory productivity services, consumables, compliance / regulatory consulting, biopharma, financial modeling
- Sales Management experience highly preferred
- Global background preferred; understands and appreciates cultural differences and global organization complexity
- Proven track record of applying a customer-focused, consultative sales approach
- Global account management/enterprise sales skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills
- Ability to travel, greater than 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally
- Project management experience
- In-depth skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience and internal recognition in specialty
