Job Description
HR Generalist responsible for recruitment in US and Bermuda and general HR support. Collaborating with teams to enhance processes and ensure compliance with policies.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in recruitment for open requisitions with an emphasis on talent pipeline to ensure we meet current and future staffing requirements
- Oversee the full-life cycle recruitment; sourcing, screening & assessment, managing the interview process, and negotiating entry to mid-level offers
- Partner with HRBPs/managers to strategize on recruiting initiatives, understand trends, and ensure headcount alignment
- Be the key contact for staffing agencies in the US & Bermuda and attend industry job fairs as appropriate
- Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment processes and operations to optimize efficiency
- Manage summer intern program in US and Bermuda and support the global intern program together with colleagues in London
- Work with the Finance and the wider HR team to manage the recruitment budget for US and Bermuda positions
- Proactively advise and guide managers with general HR support including employee relations, with the support of the local HR Business Partner as needed
- Participate in local or global HR projects/initiatives, as may be required.
- Ensure HR Policies for the US offices are maintained in accordance with local legal requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role managing the full-life cycle corporate recruiting and HR generalist experience, with a track record of successfully identifying and engaging top talent
- Experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of talent search including leveraging AI tools, internet search optimization, innovative candidate sourcing programs, passive candidate mining and networking, pre-screening, offer negotiations, and candidate relationship management
- Strong ability to manage multiple openings at once.
- Exceptional client service and candidate relationship management
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and ability to apply toward recruiting and employee situations
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Influential communicator, both verbal and written
