Job Description
Inside Sales Specialist responsible for selling Insulet's Omnipod products and ensuring patient communication. Collaborate with teams for optimal patient experience and sales conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Insulet products to prospective customers; responsible for proactive outbound calls to patients who have expressed interest in the Omnipod system.
- Handle incoming calls generated through physician offices or marketing programs.
- Respond to inquiries about the Omnipod product and competitive comparisons, leveraging a thorough understanding of the application and benefits of Insulet products.
- Collaborate with internal reimbursement teams and field sales to convert prospects into activated customers (shipped customers).
- Provide regular feedback and improvement suggestions to support a culture of continuous process improvement.
- Perform a wide range of complex sales, service, and administrative tasks.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous B2B or B2C experience preferred.
- Knowledge of managed care structures is desirable.
- Experience supporting patients with diabetes is an advantage.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system preferred.
- Sales and objection-handling skills: ability to persuade prospects of the benefits of the Omnipod system and close sales.
- Forecasting and pipeline management: ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively, move leads quickly through a short sales cycle, and provide accurate and transparent forecasts.
- Computer skills: proficient with MS Office applications and CRM systems to efficiently organize daily activities.
