Job Description
Investment Manager at Tether leading strategic investment transactions in venture capital. Responsible for due diligence, investment committee preparation, and portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of investment transactions from term sheet through close
- Design and drive the end-to-end due diligence process
- Author and own Investment Committee memoranda
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned portfolio companies post-close
- Drive the build-out and continuous improvement of Tether RISE fund’s Investment operating infrastructure
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
- 5-10 years of experience across venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or corporate development
- Experience in end-to-end investment transactions
- Advanced financial modelling; strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of cap table management tools (e.g. Carta), CRM/deal flow platforms (e.g. Affinity, Salesforce)
- Strong understanding of venture and growth-stage investment dynamics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
