Job Description

Key Account Manager responsible for managing financial institution clients at Convera. Focus on sales growth and client satisfaction in a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key clients in the Financial Institution sector.
  • Assess clients’ needs and determine opportunities for growth.
  • Execute a quarterly plan in collaboration with the customer.
  • Achieve revenue targets through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
  • Monitor and achieve retention targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting techniques and KPI reporting.
  • Identify at-risk clients and build appropriate escalation points.
  • Share best practices and trends with the KAM team.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in an Account Management role, preferably in the financial services, or fintech sector and worked with regulated financial institutions.
  • Exposure to the foreign exchange industry is desirable
  • Experience in managing relationships with and driving revenue from existing client accounts
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales principles and adept at executive corporate level negotiations.
  • Financially astute with knowledge of business needs and concerns and the commercial impact of global news and events.
  • Strong business-to-business and solutions sales experience with excellent communication/presentation skills across all media.
  • Ability to use technology (e.g., MS Office, web conferencing, reporting tools, and sales automation platforms such as Salesforce).
  • Proven experience of working within and selling into multinational global organizations.
