Job Description

Account Manager driving revenue and customer engagement in the Midwest for Mastercam. Focused on sales execution, relationship building, and achieving Annual Recurring Revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying to negotiating and closing deals.
  • Execute Mastercam’s sales strategies, ensuring adherence to processes and utilizing Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop tailored value propositions and competitive positioning to address market-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Drive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth through subscription sales and renewal of maintenance agreements.
  • Implement customer retention strategies, ensuring consistent value delivery and high renewal rates.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing complex issues and identifying new opportunities.
  • Regularly evaluate pipeline quality and sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity within the territory.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers, Channel Managers, and other internal teams to drive revenue.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 5 years of proven sales or account management experience in a subscription-based or ARR-focused environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and value-based selling methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and implement innovative sales strategies
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft 365 for pipeline management, reporting, and communication
  • Experience with sales enablement tools (e.g., Gong.io, HubSpot, Seismic) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Competent in AI-driven tools for customer insights, competitive analysis, and proposal generation
  • Ability to inspire and coach team members while driving results
  • Strong focus on delivering value and building lasting relationships
  • Skilled in analyzing sales metrics and market data to develop actionable strategies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory 30-50%.
