Job Description
Director of Business Development and Relationship Manager at Fiserv driving revenue growth and strengthening client relationships. Collaborating across teams to identify opportunities and support business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies for assigned clients, prospects, or market segments to drive revenue growth and expand strategic relationships
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders to identify business needs, align solutions, and support long-term partnership goals
- Lead the sales cycle for complex opportunities, including discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and contract execution
- Partner with product, implementation, operations, and support teams to coordinate client onboarding, solution expansion, and issue resolution throughout the relationship lifecycle
- Monitor market activity, client performance, and competitive trends to identify new opportunities, manage risks, and inform growth strategies
- Prepare and deliver business reviews, pipeline updates, opportunity forecasts, and relationship plans for leadership and key stakeholders
- Support cross-functional initiatives that improve client experience, increase retention, and strengthen commercial outcomes
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, strategic account management, or sales within financial services, payments, fintech, or a related industry
- 8+ years of experience developing and managing complex client relationships, including executive stakeholder engagement, negotiations, and revenue growth planning
- 8+ years of experience leading solution-based sales efforts, contract discussions, and cross-functional coordination across internal teams and external client organizations
- Experience analyzing pipeline activity, client performance, and market trends to support forecasting, opportunity planning, and business growth decisions
- Experience preparing and delivering client presentations, business reviews, proposals, and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
