Job Description

Lead Benefits Specialist managing employee benefits operations for Bounteous across the US and Canada, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer the day-to-day operations of Bounteous' benefit programs
  • Manage and administer leaves of absence
  • Oversee relationships with benefits vendors
  • Provide guidance and support to People & Culture Partners and employees
  • Liaise with insurers, vendors, employees, and the People Experience team
  • Partner with HRIS, payroll, and external vendors
  • Manage ACA reporting requirements
  • Respond promptly to inquiries in the benefits mailbox
  • Develop and deliver benefits and well-being communications
  • Support the implementation of new benefit programs
  • Participate in benefits and People & Culture initiatives
  • Transmit benefits data to vendors

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of benefits administration experience across the Americas (United States experience required)
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and adaptable
