Job Description
Lead developer architecting Velixo’s Partner and Billing/Admin Portals. Building secure full-stack systems supporting financial reporting tools, ERP integrations, subscriptions, and partner operations.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Partner Portal and Billing/Admin Portal end-to-end, including architecture, roadmap, delivery, quality, and day-to-day operations
- Translate partner workflows, trials, quoting, discounting, subscriptions, and licensing needs into maintainable software
- Set the technical direction and make pragmatic build-versus-extend decisions
- Define and evolve application architecture across React/TypeScript, ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, Node.js/Next.js, Docker, nginx, and PostgreSQL
- Design integration boundaries between the portals, HubSpot, ERPs, telemetry, and authentication/SSO systems
- Establish engineering standards for code review, testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure-by-default practices
- Mentor and provide technical direction to developers
- Write production code across the full stack and diagnose complex application, integration, and infrastructure issues
- Own HubSpot CRM, ERP, telemetry/usage-data, authentication, and SSO integrations
- Deploy and operate applications across Azure, AWS, and supporting Hetzner infrastructure
- Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, releases, environments, configuration, and change control
- Provide escalation support and drive root-cause resolution for production issues
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Partner, Support, and R&D teams to prioritize valuable work
- Communicate scope and timing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Document architecture, runbooks, and configuration
- Automate repetitive operational work and continuously improve reliability, security, and developer experience
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including senior or lead-level ownership of production web applications
- Strong full-stack proficiency with React/TypeScript and Node.js/Next.js
- Experience designing and operating containerized services with Docker
- Experience deploying to Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms, including HubSpot or comparable CRM systems
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases and evolving data models
- Track record of technical ownership for production systems, including architecture, delivery, and operations
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access, and secure handling of sensitive business and financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to work core hours in EST
- ERP integration experience, such as Acumatica, Sage Intacct, or Dynamics 365 Business Central (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with quoting, billing, subscription, or licensing systems (nice-to-have)
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tooling (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to AI-assisted or agentic development tooling and patterns (nice-to-have)
- Bilingual French/English (nice-to-have)
- Experience in SaaS or financial software handling sensitive data (nice-to-have)
