Job Description
Director of Sales leading a team of health care sales executives across several states. Responsible for strategy execution and achieving sales objectives in the health care sector.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading a team of sales executives
- Develop strong personal and collaborative relationships with an assigned book of business/territory
- Achieve customer satisfaction, revenue, membership, and earnings objectives
- Work collaboratively with counterparts in Sales
- Sets, communicates, and executes strategy and performance measures
- Leads business development activities in pursuit of new growth channels
- Develop and execute sales strategy
- Recruits, attracts, and retains a workforce
- Partners with cross-functional team
- Monitors market conditions
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of health care sales experience with demonstrated leadership in sales strategy development and execution, accountability, and innovative sales approaches
- Direct and broker sales experience
- Relevant industry experience with complex sales and/or client management
- Ability/experience leading a team of professional sales staff
- Health & Life license required
