Job Description

Divisional Sales Manager at Stanley Black & Decker driving sales results and operational excellence in the Retail Field Sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Divisional Sales Manager you will be part of the Retail Field Sales team working as a remote/Field based employee in the south.
  • The position will aid in delivering sales results of $500M+ in business by ensuring operational excellence and execution within the Division.
  • This person will assist in the development of the sales strategic plan and vision for The Home Depot field sales team.
  • Deliver sales results as outlined in the Sales Ops Plan by formulating and executing a plan for your team to drive P.O.S. and in turn top line sales.
  • Set Market Manager monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for all Stanley Black & Decker Portfolios.
  • Develop team of Market Managers and Sales Coordinators through coaching and existing measurement tools.
  • Leverage key relationships with Home Depot Field Divisional Merchandising Managers, Regional Merchandising Managers, Divisional Merchandising Execution Team Managers, Divisional Pro Desk Managers, Hardware and Garden captains, and develop business plans with Market Key Decision Makers.
  • Sell Quarterly promotional plan to Key Decision Makers to secure critical merchandising space.
  • Drive flawless execution of the Quarterly objectives and work with the Merchandising Execution Team to ensure in-store fundamentals and to create consistency and accountability throughout the entire Division.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility within the team and manage Divisional expense budget.
  • Execute OPR process to develop Market Managers and track.
  • Manage Business Objectives (MBO's) to measure team's performance.
  • Play a lead role in interaction with Home Depot’s Headquarter team and our internal Channel/Product teams.

Requirements:

  • (5+) years of sales and management experience
  • A strong understanding of the Retail environment
  • Proven exceptional leadership/management skills
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
