Job Description

Lead - MIS role at Mashreq Bank focused on financial analysis, reporting, and HRMS validation. Coordinate monthly financials, cost allocations, and validate data accuracy for automation tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in monthly financials, daily transactional analysis, HRMS validation and update, preparation of monthly financials, assist in annual plan and group MBO reviews, consolidation of monthly provisions, assist in cost allocation of support units.
  • Assist in preparation of Monthly Financial Pack, Annual Plan and Group Head MBO reviews
  • Daily download of GL transactional dump, HR data dump and analysis
  • Tracking of expense daily, comparison to Plan and variance analysis
  • Preparation of reclass, rectification entries and coordination with CAD
  • Coordination with PICG on correct mapping of Employees cost centre
  • Validating and Preparing Upload data for Headcount into Portal
  • Assist in monthly Provision files - Collation, Review and Submission- Bank wide
  • Assist in monthly cost allocation for support units
  • Ad hoc expense and headcount reporting at bank level
  • Validate data accuracy for MicroStrategy, Power BI & other automation tools enabler units
  • Consistent review of all accounting manuals, procedures, policies Mashreq
  • Identify areas to automate the process and in line with the bank policy

Requirements:

  • Accounting / Commerce Graduate within minimum 2-3 years of related system experience
  • Strong Analytical Skill with Excel, Word, MIS reporting, and Power Point with good presentation & communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Banks operating system specifically Oracle related applications.
