Job Description
Manager for Sustainability Consulting at a Climate Tech Start-up supporting companies in emission reduction. Focus on carbon management and team leadership in a remote setup.
Responsibilities:
- Define processes and help grow the team
- Independently manage large clients on carbon management (CCF, PCF, and Net‑Zero Management) and develop ideas to strengthen long‑term relationships
- Play a key role in shaping our software
- Validate the software's outputs/results
- Participate in the preparation and execution of strategic projects
Requirements:
- Fluent German (C2)
- At least 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting or in a corporate sustainability department — focus on CCF/PCF or sustainability strategy
- Minimum 1 year of team management experience
- Hands‑on mentality; proactively drives initiatives forward
- Team player who works closely with key interfaces across the company
- Strong ability to navigate and manage challenging topics
- Experience in project management
- Enjoys setting up and optimizing processes
- Motivated to change the status quo and support companies in their first steps toward sustainability
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn and engage with diverse topics
- Enjoy supporting clients on their sustainability journey
